3. Promoting Diversity and Inclusion

EFMU actively seeks to create a welcoming and diverse environment that reflects the global community. We value diversity in all its forms and believe that fostering a culture of inclusion leads to stronger educational outcomes and prepares students to engage successfully in a globalized society. The university encourages:

  • The recruitment and retention of students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds but without positive or negative discrimination, hence remaining merit-based.
  • The development of policies, programs, and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, again without positive or negative discrimination, hence remaining merit-based.
  • Creating a culture where differences are not stigmatized, and everyone has equal access to opportunities for learning and success.

4. Harassment and Bullying

Reports will be handled in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.

All members of the university community are responsible for maintaining an environment free of discrimination and harassment. Those found to be in violation of this policy may face disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or dismissal, depending on the severity of the violation.

7. Education and Training

EFMU recognizes the importance of education and awareness in promoting an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment. The university will offer regular training and resources on issues related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-discrimination. This training will be mandatory for all incoming students, faculty, and staff and will be available throughout their time at the university to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
